Call For Speakers

InJoy is excited to announce the return of our popular annual virtual summit! This year, we are again focusing on childbirth education, including birth, breastfeeding, baby care, and related prenatal classes. Currently, only 25-50% of parents participate in these classes, leaving many without the well-rounded education that can improve their family’s health outcomes. We also aim to share new research related to perinatal education and related topics.

This conference will be a dynamic space for us to come together to share ideas on structuring an effective program with flexible options for today’s parents, increasing class attendance, designing activities to increase engagement during class, and more. To make this summit a success, we need speakers who are passionate and knowledgeable about these topics! If you believe you have valuable insights to contribute, please read below for details.


FAQs for Interested Speakers   

WHAT ARE THE EVENT DATES?  
We are considering a one- or two-day conference for 2025. 
-One-day conference: Thursday, September 18th
-Two-day conference: Thursday, September 18th and Friday, September 19th

WHERE IS THE EVENT LOCATED?  
The 2025 InJoy Summit is virtual 
Submission Deadline:  May 16th 

WHAT ARE THE OBJECTIVES OF THE 2025 INJOY VIRTUAL SUMMIT?  
We will look at the importance of childbirth and perinatal education, its history, current trends, and concrete ideas to help childbirth educators, coordinators, and managers develop their programs and address challenges. 

After attending, participants will learn ways to: 
-Increase the effectiveness of their prenatal education programs by including the right topics and formats and pricing them appropriately (if applicable)  
-Network within their organization and community to promote childbirth education 
-Encourage healthcare providers to stress the importance of prenatal classes 
-Market their program and encourage new parents to sign up for classes 
-Engage parents in the classroom  
-Make childbirth education more accessible   
-Integrate the latest perinatal research into practice 

WHO IS THE TARGET AUDIENCE FOR THE 2025 INJOY VIRTUAL SUMMIT?  
Directors, nurse managers, patient education directors and coordinators, educators,  lactation specialists, doulas, midwives and more.  

WHAT TYPES OF SESSIONS CAN I APPLY FOR?   
There are various session durations available :
-1 hour session
-90-minute session/ Speaker panel

HOW CAN I SHARE MY INFORMATION?  
Slide deck, live demonstration, games, polls, handouts, Q&A session, etc. 

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO PRESENT AT THESE EVENTS?  
We invite individuals with valuable insights on this year’s focus to submit a Speaker Proposal. Whether you have an important topic to discuss, a success story to share, or innovative ideas to present, we want to hear from you! Preference will be given to presenters with degrees, licenses, or certifications, as we aim to provide high-quality, accredited content.

ARE SPEAKERS COMPENSATED?  
Yes, we have two options for compensation:
-$250 check OR
-$500 gift certificate you can use on InJoy products!  

IF I AM SELECTED, WHAT AM I REQUIRED TO PROVIDE?  
As a selected speaker, you will need to submit the following materials:
-Headshot
-Bio
-Presentation Objectives
-Three Topic-Related Questions
-Slide Deck (PowerPoint)
-Handout for Attendees

Please note:
-Presentations are due one month before the conference date.
-You must be available for a rehearsal a few weeks prior to the summit.
