How do I get access to post on InCommunity?

You can browse InCommunity without logging in, but you won’t be able to post to any section. You will need to have an InJoy Customer Account on this website to participate in discussions and post

If you already have an InJoy Customer account on our website

It’s best practice to log in to your before using InCommunity, unless you are just browsing. If you are not logged in to your InJoy account and you try to create a post or respond, you will be prompted to log in.  Click OK on the promptYou will be redirected to the Create an Account page. Click on the highlighted “Log In” next to “Already have an account?” question to be taken to the log in page.  Log in to your InJoy account here. Please note that you may need to change your password if you are accessing InCommunity for the first time. (You can use your existing password again if you wish, but you’ll need to reenter it.) You will then be redirected back to InCommunity.

If you do NOT have an InJoy Customer Account on our website:

If you do NOT have an account with InJoy and try to create a post or respond, you will be prompted to create a new account. Click OK. You will be redirected to a Create an Account page where you can set up a simple account. You will then be redirected back to InCommunity. Next time, you can log in with this account. Happy posting!

Forum

Is there a question you have been dying to have answered? Use this space to ask questions of your fellow educators and answer their questions in return.

How to Post

To start a new conversation thread to the Forum Section, click on the + New Topic button on the upper right-hand side of the topics bar, above “last post.”

Create a name for your conversation in the subject line and type in your question. If you’d like, you can add a related web link simply by pasting it into your post and/or upload files as part of your post by selecting the Choose File button under Upload Files.

File Specifications: Maximum number of files per post: 5. Maximum file size: 5 MB. Allowed file types: JPG, JPEG, PNG, BMP, PDF, DOC, DOCX

You are also able to subscribe to your post here by checking the box next to Subscribe to this topic. This will send you an email alert of there are new replies to your post. Learn more about subscriptions below.


Research & News

Use this section to read about current research and trends or share an interesting article that you’ve found.

How to Post

To add a new post to the Research & News Section, click on the + New Topic button on the upper right-hand side of the topics bar, above “last post.”

Create a name for your post in the subject line and then add your content. Add a web link simply by pasting it into your post. To upload a PDF as part of your post, select the Choose File button under Upload Files.

Shareables

Do you have something you use in the classroom or other sessions that just works? Share it with your fellow educators here by posting an idea, concept, or an infographic that you useand love. 

How to Post

To add a new post to the Shareables Section, click on the + New Topic button on the upper right-hand side of the topics bar, above “last post”.

Create a name for your post in the subject line and add your content. Add a web link simply by pasting it into your post. To upload an image, infographic or PDF as part of your post, select the Choose File button under Upload Files.

InCast & Webinars

The final two areas of InCommunity take you to ourpodcast, InCast, and free webinars for educators. Enjoy! (Please note that these two areas do not allow posts from users.)


What are subscriptions? 

InCommunity allows you to subscribe to pages and posts to receive email updates about new activity in theForum, Research & News, Shareables, and Blog sections

If you’d like to receive email updates/reminders, here’s how it works:

Subscribe to a section of InCommunity(Forum, Research & News, Shareables, and/or theInJoy Blog):

Click on the section name in which you’d like to subscribe (for instance, Forum). Then, click Subscribe to this forumon the bottom lefthand side of the page, below “topics. You will receive updates on new posts in that section of InCommunity. Repeat as needed for the other sections you’d like to subscribe to.

Subscribe to a specific “topic” or post thread

Click into the post and select “Subscribe to this Topic.

Manage your subscriptions

From any InCommunity page, click Subscriptions in the grey navigation bar on the left-hand side to see what you have subscribed to. Edit your subscriptions as needed.
